We Will Always Love the Fremont District

Flickr set: Our 1st Place in Seattle. Wow. It’s been about a year and a half… and I can *finally* post pictures of our first place in Seattle. Because of it’s unique characteristics, it was difficult for me to post our place without feeling like our lives would be Internet-Stalker Proof (patent pending hee hee)!
This row of houses is in the style of an architect that I don’t remember from an era that I can’t recall. All I remember is Liana gently gasping at the sheer wonderland she discovered while she passed through the vine covered gate. Sometimes, when you know something is perfect, you just know. We fell in love with it and lived there happily for one and a half years.
It’s now for sale, if you’re looking to buy a place in Seattle. It really treated us well and we even left a list of “places to eat” and “what to order” for the new owners – that’s an important thing ya know.
Hopefully our visitors from California (Jade & Steve) and Chicago (Mark and Chris) felt at home there as much as we did. Related side note: I will ALWAYS, ALWAYS miss the corner grocery store MARKETIME – I always LOVED coming home from work and walking the produce aisled for something to create on the fly EVERYDAY. I guess I’ll have to stop by Pike Place Market everyday after work now (lol yes, I’m spoiled)!
Goodbye Fremont, we’ll miss you!
