I gave this a tweet / Facebook status update a few days ago, but a photo of one of my dishes was used on the Apartment Therapy “The Kitchn” food blog. Sure, it was a roundup post (reviewing the articles from the previous week), but what tickled me most of all was the title: Sense of Place: The Food and Cuisine of California. CALIFORNIA. SRSLY.

Yes, I know… it’s SEARED TUNA (I’ve turned my nose up on it before hee hee), but it’s an honor to for someone to see my food and say “huh, this looks like Californian food.” Maybe I should forgo the HD video camera and purchase a commercial-grade SLR camera? OH NOES CONFLICTED. LOL.
