All Things Chill

If you refresh your browser on my site, you’ll see that I’ve done some minor changes to the header of the blog – the header graphic and a new “SHARED ITEMS” link. It’s not a redesign per se, ’cause I would totally take the grey + orange away if IT WARMED UP HERE IN SEATTLE. Maybe. It’s just a few tweeks to keep myself happy for a while (honestly, it’s just an easier way for someone to see ALLTHINGSCHILL on someone else’s iPhone browser. lawl).

In college, to break the monotony of accounting and finance classes, I read Aristotle’s Modes of Persuasion and use a lot of his teachings in my everyday life. So to break down the tag line, so as to not ostracize anyone from my strategically formulated obscurity, I’ve given definitions below:

Logos – logical appeal, and indeed the term logic is derived from it.

Pathos – an appeal to the audience’s emotions.

Matcha – Matcha is a fine, powdered green tea used particularly in the Japanese tea ceremony.

I also added a “SHARED ITEMS” link on the top of the blog that goes directly to my Google Reader Shared Items page, where I post some of my favorite Internets for the day. So, if you follow this blog with an RSS reader, copy and past this gReader RSS link and add this to your LIST OF AWESOMENESS. It’s kind of a big deal. FIERCE, even. lawl.

So, that’s that. Thought + Emotion with a lil’ bit of chill thrown into the mix. Yes Jason, Logos was also a ship in the Matrix. Yes, Jada Pinkett-Smith played the ship’s captian. No, I don’t want to see it again. Try tomorrow. LOL.
