Fields of Tulips!
After being drugged a lil’ bit with some recommended OTC medication to make me magically “un-dizzy,” Liana and I went to the The 25th Skagit Tulip Festival. YAY. She drove, my job was to not get nauseous. lol. We attended the last day of the Kiwanis Salmon BBQ, took pictures of a ton of flowers (12 picture Flickr album here!) and spent hours walking around the red / pink / yellow and purple tulip fields.
There were footlong corndogs, after-dinner mint loaves of bread (wtf?), assorted arts and crafts and lots of pets running around. It was your average town festival, but it was still a great way to spend the semi-sunny day.
