All Things Chill

Today my dear,
will be the first,
that I will be alone,
in our new place,
where I will sleep,
while you’re at your “other” home.

I’ll wash,
I’ll dust,
I’ll even scrub,
our residence for you,
so you’ll arrive,
without a care,
just x’s and o’s (beaucoup!),

So I’ll just wait,
a little more,
to see your smiling face,
I miss you dear,
enjoy the sun,
’cause Seattle is such a rainy place!
