Goodbye Free Time, Hello Halo 3!
Ben from Opposable Thumbs (ARS WHAT WHAT) let the Internets know that Amazon was dropping the price of Halo 3’s Legendary Edition by $70. You can find a review of the game by Frank here. The collection includes a helmet (which I know Liana would absolutely hate if I put it on display), the game, a DVD a bunch of other cool stuffs and an upright storage stand to carry it all. The Legendary Edition of Halo 3 is an impressive thing to see. The problem has always been the $130 price tag. Some people paid it without hesitation, other people laughed at it, but now it’s all academic: Amazon.com is running a one-day sale where the Legendary Edition can be had for $60.

YAY. What does everyone else have the regular edition priced? $60! LOL. Now would be a good time as any to pick up this game. I did! I’m figuring if you already own an Xbox360, you already have Halo 3… but since *I* haven’t picked it up yet (yes, I’m a lamer), there must be more people like me. If that’s the case, make sure you call your mother, don’t forget that you have to pick up your dry cleaning on Wednesday afternoon and for goodness sakes… shine those shoes! They’re filthy! LOL.

I will TOTALLY relieve you of that horrible helmet so you don’t have to worry about displaying it anywhere! I’d hate for it to cause you problems and I have a perfect spot all picked out for it.
