Portland Brunch? Yes! (With short review)

So, if I ever get any sleep tonite… maybe I can wake up early enough for brunch in Portland! I did a little digging around the Internets and found two great candidates for breaking the fast: Mother’s and Bijou Cafe. To make my always-elongated thought process concise… I chose Bijou because…
(cue tiny monkey with a snare and bananas as drum sticks – OMG CUTE!)
1. It is translated in French as “jewel.”
2. I like the color and font choice on their signage.
3. There might be house music playing in the background.
4. They supposedly have an oyster omelet that is to die for.
I dunno about dying… but I’ll sure as heck give it a taste! Regardless where we eat tomorrow, it’ll be archived in some form of media. I don’t care if I have to draw a picture on a napkin with ketchup. Original work will be provided!
Ok, I need the sleeps.

Update: The oyster omelet was PHENOMENAL. Liana got the pumpkin seed quesadilla and that was tasty too. Line was shorter than Mother’s (we stopped by to see the menu), and the wait staff was super nice! YAY. Great great great!
