The Woes of Parking in San Franicisco
In my little corner of San Francisco, there is a parking lot that charges $20 for overnight parking. The attendant leaves @ 10:30PM and comes back @ 5:30AM. The street adjacent to this parking lot has signs for each side of the street that dictacte what days you can park there overnight; the left side Tuesday and Thursdays and the right side Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You cannot park on either side of the street between the hours of 12AM and 6AM. I must move the car from the lot before 5:30 AM. The parking meters are activated @ 7AM… which gives me an hour and a half window to move the car somewhere else.
My clock reads 5:38AM and I made a spreadsheet representation about this very situation. This, ladies and gentlemen, this is the sole reason why I love the suburbs. The Internets must be aware of my solace. Hee hee.
