Top Chef… Not (ever) Yet.

Liana just told me that Top Chef is having casting calls this Sunday in San Francisco… and next season is filming in Chicago. Wow. I don’t think I even have 1/10000000 the experience, knowledge or sheer moxie to try out… but one day… I believe I can. I’m not saying that I would… or that it’s a goal in my life… but I will keep learning and soaking up everything I can from people that I know *just in case*. It’d be a good time to try out though. Hee hee.

I have been talking to a couple high-profile chefs in the city about it and some are going… best of luck to them all (especially you Mr. Scott!)… I’d love to say “I knew that fool when he/she was local.” LOL.

    DO IT. What have you got to lose? You’re so kitschy, they have to love you. Just throw an egg on top of everything you cook.

    agreed. what do you have to lose? even if you don’t get in you can always say you did it – as in experience.

    I say do it! The stuff you make is as good as the stuff the chefs I work with make. Aaaaand you have tons more personality than all of them put together!

    Nothing to lose … you only live once. Even just by going, you’ll gain experience and meet new people.
