All Things Chill

Thanks Jason to for the link! I’ve been a long time Kristen Bell / Veronica Mars fan. She’s one of the few actors and actresses I know by name (I forget about everyone else as their mainstream-ness fades). The 3 season show has since been canceled for a while by the powers that be (CW isn’t worth linking to right now), but that doesn’t mean that the show’s star is down and out ’cause Variety reports…

NBC is adding former “Veronica Mars” star Kristen Bell to the cast of “Heroes.”

LOL. It seems as though Ms. Bell (is she married?) has been a busy bee since we saw her on TV. Apparently, she turned down many offers to be on film, tv and even a spot on Lost! She would have been a great crazy island woman… or hey, House MD needs 3 new interns (OMG excited about that too)!

“This was not easy to pull off,” said “Heroes” creator-exec producer Tim Kring. “But since we’re an ensemble show, with many arcs playing out through the year, we found a way to jump into a small window in (Bell’s) schedule.”

The more I think about it, I kinda wished she took the Lost role. The whole appeal of Veronica Mars was that she was just a regular teenager with regular problems (like, ya know, dating heirs to millions, solving her best friend’s murder, etc.). No worries tho… Heroes is a great show and she’s a great actress… maybe it’ll be a good fit!

The new season is coming September 24th!!
