Hack the Wii! / Hack the PS2!
OOH OOH someone created a workaround for playing DVDs on the Nintendo Wii. You still have to pop in a CD then swap it out for the movie of your choice, but its a SOFTWARE hack… which means that the Wii had DVD playback capabilities from the get go. If the DVD software was unlocked to the general public, that would bring the number of DVD players AT MY DESK (pBook, 1 reader / 1 burner in PC desktop, Xbox 360, Wii)… at FIVE. LOL. I’m sure it’s the same for most of you!

yeah, its not entirely software only, because you need the modded wii…sigh…i hope nintendo comes up with an update. For now, i will stick to mario strikers charged…w00t!
