Ribeye Made Simple!

Larger view here. HAY GUESS WHAT I FOUND?!?!!? A RIBEYE IN MY FREEZER! YAY. I preheated my pan on super high high and wrapped my steak with paper towels to get it ultra dry. Then, I covered the entire steak with freshly cracked pepper (whole peppercorns in a towel hit with a big pan until cracked) and threw it in the hot pan for 5 minutes on one side and 3 minutes on the other. When the steak was finished, I took it out and made a quick pan sauce (ask if you want to know how). I even had enough frozen fries from last week’s sammich to throw on with my steak! I also rounded out the meat n’ potatoes with sliced red onions and greens tossed in a simple white wine vinaigrette. Nice n’ simple, but oh so hearty.
YAY MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAT.
