Incubus Never Disappoints. Nevar.
Youtube link of yesterday’s concert (via LIVE105) here. My faaaaaaaaaaaaaavorite band evar – Incubus - played last night @ Berkeley’s Greek Theatre. Liana laid out her handmade blankey and we sat “front row” on the grassy area (pretty much where I sat @ the DCfC concert). We had an older couple to our right, armed with leather gloves (it got cooooooold that night), books to read and grapes… the wife sang almost every song. It was really cute. To our left, we had a carefully mustached man who needed a high-five every 5 minutes. We were singing harmonies before the night was over. LOL.It was good company!
I’m completely biased, but I loved the concert. I’m 100% sure that I sang / screamed every word, hand-motioned everyone of Kilmore’s skratch sentences and woooo’d every “concert only” arrangements. We even killed off the night with a lemon chicken sausage from Top Dawg… which is totally my favorite place in the entire world. Seriously. Playlist (in the order of what I can remember) follows:
Regular Set:
Quicksand | A Kiss to Send Us Off | Wish you were Here | Vitamin | Love Hurts | Drive | Anna Molly | Talk Show on Mute | Pistola | Dig | Megalomaniac | Oil & WaterEncore Songs:
The Warmth | 11AM | Aqueous Transmission
I reaaaaaaaaaaaaly wished they played Stellar, but they made up for it in the way they ended the night with Aqueous Transmission. Their exit was classic. I CAN’T WAIT FOR THEM TO COME BACK (wherever that’ll be)!
YAY INCUBUS!
