Rooted in Music
This one is for Jorge (a.k.a. The Curious J), my fellow resident dj on the Dogglounge. Teruo’s Mic Roots t-shirt. I’ve been checkin’ out Teruo’s stuff for a while now, since they participated in both the Hayes Valley block party and Haight-Ashbury Fair.
Teruo has a lot of simple, clean urban designs… but what makes their clothing so noteworthy is the patch that they put on the back of their shirts. I’m sure it’s been done before, but this is the first time that it really came together in an tasteful, uncluttered design. They have a lot of other cool designs that stand on their own… but that damn patch makes them so want-a-ble. Haha.
I’ll prolly pick up the Mic Roots and Primary Music the next time that they show up in the city. The shirts retail for $32, but when they have a booth somewhere each shirt is $26. Let me know if you want me to pick one up for you!
