Parents’ Visit: The End is Near

Flickr album – San Francisco: Through My Parents’ Eyes – can be found here. Slideshow here. If you didn’t already know, we flew back in from San Diego on Tuesday and my parents are touristing it up in San Francisco. It’s like I’m seeing the city for the first time… all over again!
Today, we hit up the Palace of Fine Arts… where I went macro-crazy on my point-and-shoot digicam, walked through the Marina District, cancelled our plans to the Cow Hollow District and managed to not freeze like an icicle on top of the Golden Gate Bridge. We topped the night off with a delicoius large “Specialty Pizza” (read: garbage / everything pizza) Goat Hill Pizza.
I really wouldn’t know where I’d take them if they stayed another day. Prolly to Costco and ask for a new EVERYTHING. LOL. Hmmmm… I don’t think that I’d ever run out of places to go… but I have run out of places that *I’d* go to on a regular basis. Screw all that noise about taking your guests to the “biggest and best.” Take ‘em to places that you like to go… regardless if it’s cheap or not. If you all assume that your guest remotely likes you… they’ll like what you like. Unless they’re in-laws. rofl.
Parents had fun: YAY. I’m going back to work: Boo.
