DL MIXSET: Waterfront Beats

Ever since I checked out Miguel Migs (coolio) and Mark Farina (meh) with *inhale* Mark, Atish, Alice, Jordy, Evan + friends *exhale* @ Ruby Skye (lol SF’s answer to Zentra *barf*) I’ve caught the booty shakin’ bug. So with this mixset, I wanted to have it BUMP BUMP BUMP from the get go. It’s dedicated to the beauty that is the Embarcadero:
The Embarcadero is the eastern waterfront roadway of the Port of San Francisco, San Francisco, California, along San Francisco Bay. It sits atop an engineered seawall on reclaimed land.
You can download the mixset here (Right-click and choose Save As…) via the Dogglounge, or sample the entire mixset using the audio player below:

It’s chocked full of deep, soulful, vocal, spoken word… and even a GOSPEL (AAAAMMMEEENNN) house track in therrr. I hope you enjoy the mixset!

Ick. I so can’t stand Booby Skye! Too bad so many of the city’s good DJs play there. The venue itself is beautiful…the vibe of the crowd is what makes this place suck ass.
And I’m SO over Farina…he’s been doing the same tired thing for so long without changing it up. Migs, however, always keeps it fresh and is totally chill. I had a drink with him about a year ago at the SnoDrift…very mellow, very approachable guy. And oh yeah, he’s a pretty good DJ too!
