For the Spring Season, New Scents Make Sense

Someone from work hooked me up with a goody bag of sample fragrances, which I took with much appreciation. I have a couple favorites (which may or may not knock my all-time favorite Issey from the spot on my bathroom shelf), but the one that stood out the most was Marc Jacobs’ fragrance of the same name. Amazon has the deets:
Marc Jacobs Men is an unexpected scent with original, modern style that creates a feeling of understated luxury. This green-woodsy scent is layered with Italian bergamot, lush spices, clear watery fig leaves and masculine florals, soothed with Indonesian patchouli and moss.
When my aforementioned co-worker explained the scent as “woodsy” I automatically switcher her words into blah blah blah… But when I let it mix with my natural pheromones (read: I put it on my wrist), I found it to be quite light and refreshing. I’m not the best sniffer, but I felt a lot of mint in the fragrance… maybe ’cause I’ve been working in a high-profile Vietnamese restaurant some nights… and I can’t get that damn garnish smell off my fingers. LOL.
Next time you’re @ the cologne counter @ Bloomies / Macy’s, check out Marc Jacobs Men… Maybe then, B.O. will really mean BEAUTIFUL ODOR. LOL. I know, I know… bad joke.
BAD JOKE!
