It came out on February 6, 2007, which means this is fairly new to the public… which means I’m fairly more inclined to buy it… which also means I’ll be fairly more likely to blog about it again… to gloat. LOL.
The possibilities here are endless. Honest. I’ve already used my old Xbox wired controller on my Powerbook for some Microsoft / Apple / Nintendo lovin’ (controller + Powerbook + Nintendo rom games), which always got some head nods from other Threadless wearin’ geeks. So I can only guess that a driver for this lil’ gizmo will be OS X compatible in due time. What else can this be used for besides gaming? Let’s see…
A wireless toggle tool for your favorite music / movie player (A to play, X for previous track, B for next track, etc.)
A skype phone receiver (use your Xbox 360 wireless headset too)
For a lack of better words, a Powerpoint presentation forwardereererer
A wireless solution for any map-able button events!
I love jerry-rigging stuff, which I think came from trying to make something out of nothing while being a technophile broke ass in college / mobile dj’ing on the weekends / cooking with nothing in the pantry or fridge. I also love it when all my electronics are interconnected into some kind of twisted family geekery. This just makes things worse better! Hee hee.
YAY wireless!
