Leo Jacqui and Hersch

I hit up 21st Amendment (a bar) in San Francisco with Jacqui earlier this evening to provide moral support for her interview on Mac Break Weekly with Leo Laporte (and company). YAY. Don’t know who the guy in the middle of the photo is? His website’s bio tells all (the following paragraph is an overview of his latest achievements):
Leo was a Managing Editor at Ziff-Davis Television, where he wrote and co-hosted The Personal Computing Show, a half-hour weekly television show for beginning computer users that aired on CNBC. He created and was a daily contributor to The Site, an hour-long technology newsmagazine that aired nightly on MSNBC, CNBC International, and NBC Superchannel in Europe and Asia. Laporte won an Emmy in 1997 for his work on The Site. He also hosted two shows on TechTV (formerly ZDTV), a 24-hour cable channel dedicated to computers and the Internet. Call for Help and The Screen Savers aired live every weekday from 1998 to 2004.
Man… I HEART(ed) Screen Savers. Everyone was so young and gentle then. Hee hee. ANNNDDDD… Holy crap. The man won a freaking Emmy? Crazy.
So, for the 5 minutes that *I* interacted with him… I can say that he was a really nice guy. I guess all of this (Internet) fame hasn’t changed him one bit… Which is more than I can say about SOMEONE ELSE.
And by someone else, I mean Jacqui Cheng.
ZZZZING! LOL.

UPDATE: Jacqui just posed our ugly mugs on Arstechnica.com’s Infinite Loop for all those trolling bastards everyone to see. YAY.

I suppose things like this are a pretty good reason to stay out in CA. Just remember us little peoples back in IL.

[...] While out in San Francisco, she also met up with Hersch and was interviewed for TWiT by Leo Laporte. Kudos to Jacqui on her successful trip to MacWorld SF, and I hope she feels better soon.Share and Enjoy:These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages.
