All Things Chill

For those of you who aren’t into gaming, Anime or anything related to Japanese culture, please skip… as this post will probably bore you to death. Haha. Kotaku has the latest trailer for Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core up on their site.

Finally something solid on on the PSP Final Fantasy VII game, Crisis Core! Up until now all we’ve known is that it focuses mainly on Cloud’s SOLDIER buddy Zack and would take place before the events of FFVII…obviously, since Zack died before the game started. Now Squeenix delivers the goods with its 2006 TGS trailer.

Now, I’m not one to wax poetic on the latest PSP PlayStation Portable news (I don’t own one, and don’t plan to), but the all Nihongo (Japanese) trailer was an interesting view into the *justbeforeCloudandco* storyline. It’s scary how much Japanese I’ve picked up over the years. What’s scarier is that I recognized that the protagonist’s voice was supplied by Noriaki Sugiyama, the same man who rocks out Sasuke in the Naruto series, Ishida in Bleach and Shirō in Fate/Stay Night.

Actually, that’s not scary…

…it’s embarassing.
