Taco Taco Taco, I Made You Out of Fish

Halibut and shrimp tacos with micro greens, scallions, diced onions, cilantro and a sriracha mayonnaise.
Larger view here. I had some leftover fish and shrimp from a guest chef’s demo a few days back, so I decided to make some fish tacos like the ones I made back in Chicago… just better.
I dredged halibut pieces (1” cubes) and shrimp (shell-off and deveined) in flour and then saute-d them in a fair amount of canola oil until golden brown. While I set the seafood aside, I heated some corn tortillas and blended pre-homemade mayonnaise with sriracha. After I set the tortillas on a plate, I added the sauce on the bottom, as well as the seafood, greens, onions and scallions. I then topped with edible flower petals that I had in the fridge for visual appeal.
…AND THEN I ATE IT IN THE DEMO KITCHEN.
I DID NOT SHARE. LOL.
THE END.

Seriously, I couldn’t be more happier to have found your blog through ArsLounge! Aside from the fact that the stuff you cover is pretty damn interesting, the food! Oh, the food is just great!
Makes my mouth water and it’s only 11:44am over here
