All Things Chill

I loved Garden State. I loved it enough to follow Zach Braff’s semi-serious movies for quite a long time. There’s a lot of Internet banter that makes it seem that his next movie, The Last Kiss, is just capitalizing on the success of Zach’s first movie.

Well… yeah. I can’t really argue with that.

If something is popular, it will inevitably find itself being recreated in some sort of fashion… might as well let the people who made it good the first time to do it again, right? While I’d hate to see a direct sequel to Garden State (it was truly a stand alone story), I really wouldn’t mind feel that awesomeness that you get when you can really relate to something. I don’t even know if I can explain it well enough to put it into words. I dunno, but I like it. Hee hee. You can find the trailer here.

On a related note, each track from The Last Kiss’ Official Soundtrack was picked by Mr. Braff (just like Garden State) AAANNNDDD since I *still*listen to that album, I have no doubt that I’ll have this on heavy rotation too.

Sorry if the post seemed kinda scattered. Hee hee… I’m packing / updating my iPod / studying for an wine exam / making breakfast / cleaning my room before I fly back to Chicago. YAY.
