I Really Really Want To Like It
It’s not official… but I’m not very impressed with Dashboard Confessional’s new CD: Dusk and Summer. I liked So Long, So Long and Currents, but not enough to justify the entire CD. Sadness. I also loop’d Nelly Furtado’s newest CD Loose while I was cooking dinner yesterday… and I didn’t care much for that either. I think I’m finally getting tired of Timbaland’s sound… and since his fingerprints are ALL OVER this cd, I’m tired of it.
Sometimes, it takes me a while to really get into an album… but I kinda assume “total daily integration,” clever lyrics and an automatic chill’d experience when either of these artists put out something new. Is it because I’m not ZOMGCRAZYBITTERWANTTOCRYEVERYDAY anymore? LOL. Probably.
It’s sad ’cause it’s true

I listened to Nelly Furtado’s album and it was terrible. Haven’t heard Dashboard yet, oh I hope I like it. You know it has been a year and a half I think since our meeting…We aren’t as bitter as we use to be…
