The Core Of Deep House (Updated)
I was talking to Mr. Willmore yesterday, just catching up on a lil’ bit on general stuff, when he asked me when a new mixset would be coming out. Sadly, I don’t have my decks in SF, but I’m toying with the idea of just flying back to Chicago for the weekend just to pick them up. It’d cost less than actually shipping it myself, and it would ease my parents’ fears that I’ve become just another crackhead on the west coast.
I have a few friends that rock the 1’s and 2’s in the city, so I will definitely try and do an unannounced set on the Dogglounge when I get a chance. I’ll also make sure to record my efforts to post shortly thereafter. I’m still getting used to what HOUSE MUSIC really means here in this city, so it might be a while before I try and break in the scene… as if that would happen. LOL.
ANYWAY… As I was cooking dinner a couple days ago, I put on Jorge’s latest mix: The Core.

60 Minutes of pure house lovin’. 100% his style of music… definitely worthy as a demo CD. Click it, download it, burn it and shake your ass to it, cause it don’t get much mo’ betta than that. UPDATE: Jorge just let me know that he posted another mix titled Sashiko Sessions III. Supposedly, it’s worthy of “demo CD” status for everyone to hear. So grab it while it’s hot! If you download it and I download it and then listen to it quickly thereafter… it’ll be like we’re listening it together! YAY.
