All Things Chill

After almost eight months TO THE DAY since I first wrote about it, I finally got a chance to watch Memoirs of a Geisha a couple of days ago. I waited for Jacs to finish the book, and the wait was well worth it.

I read it back in college, so I didn’t remember a lot of the details. It was a great movie with wide-angle shots and vivid colors. Zhang Zi-Yi was as beautiful as she always is… even if she wasn’t Japanese. Hee hee. That’s about all I have to say. If you haven’t seen it already, you’re probably waiting for DVD or finishing the book yourself. After what Jacs said, I’d give it some time between the completion of the book and watching the movie. I think they should be appreciated separately, instead of comparing the two for the entire 2-hours.
