Running For Covers

I’ve talked about West Elm before, but mainly because I thought the Tumbleweed Print Duvet Cover was a cute pattern and a great color.
But now, this time it’s personal. West Elm’s Diamond Jacquard Duvet Cover (in orange) screams testosterone and begs for a mocha or black leather bed frame. I’ll have sit on it for a couple of weeks (for fear that it’s an impulse buy), but I’m pretty sure this bed spread is shipping to my door in the very near future. The more I look at it, the more and more I want it.
Saturated color woven of 250-thread-count cotton percale. Button closure. Machine wash. Imported. Rust or espresso.
Standard shams : Envelope closure.
The question is, is 230-thread-count acceptable? I can’t remember the last time that I wanted to hide in bed because my sheets convinced me to stay. It’d be nice to have that feeling again. Sadly, I’ve since forgotten the thread-count on the duvet I have now. It’s still comfortable, but an upgrade may be in order.
I just want something PPPLLLUUUSSSSHHHH
