How I Found True Love And A Good Cup Of Coffee

Meet Joe Black. Easily one of my favorite movies, if only for the first cafe scene. You know what I’m talking about. It’s the perfect meeting. Boy meets girl. Boy says hello. Girl grins and says hello back. I can honestly tell you that pop the DVD in just for that scene. It’s coffee talk 101. It’s gold. Pure gold. I don’t ramble on about my Hollywood preferences often, but Clare Forlani is strikingly beautiful. She soooo cute with that big smile. And that British accent… DAMN. Don’t even get me started. *ahem*
Anyway, I saw it @ Mark’s house while stopping by to say hello. I left 1/2 through it, but I’ve been thinking about it since then (3 hours later). If you haven’t seen the movie, I highly recommend it. It’s one of the most original cheesy (pseudo-morbid) flicks ever. Turn the A/C to 60 F, find your mate, make some tea and grab the down comforters… ’cause it’s the perfect movie for SPOONING dammit. Yes. S P O O N I N G.

I LOVE THAT MOVIE! I know I’ve blogged it before. That’s where I got the quote “Nothing always means something.”

This is a nice blog. The manner of telling was really superb. True love does come from above. Like what other people say, the best things in life happen when we least expect them. Like life, true love comes with uncertainty.

This is my most favorite move of all time. Absolutely nothing tops this one for me. I’ve seen it almost a dozen times. There are moments while watching this movie that I’ve paralled the dialouge between characters. So, well that the person next to me stares at me in way that makes me smile… From the coffee scene, to the exchange of I like you so much, to the scene where Forlani says to Pitt, “I’m in love with a man…” but, I don’t know where he’s going. That particular scene was incredibly intense and deeply felt. Even as much as where they make love as though for the first.
