Big Screens And Even Bigger Bowls Of Popcorn

IMAX. Is it worth it? Willy Wonka has been a hot topic thanks to Clint and Justin (Edit: Jacqui too). And it just so happens that it’s playing @ the IMAX theatre @ Navy Pier.
But the question still remains… is it worth it?
I’m planning on going sometime next week, unless someone tells me otherwise. Sure, it’s only $5 more per person, but THAT COULD BUY ME SOME KICK ASS NACHOS!
Mmmmm… Nachos.

I miss the days of Great America having the kickass IMAX presentations. Remember ‘The Last Buffalo?’

Wonka on a normal screen was pretty damned good. I’m still not sure about the whole IMAX experience in general being worth it when a film is in general release. Sure, for those “only at IMAX” movies, you have no choice, but a general release flick? What’s wrong w/ a normal theater? Of course, that’s assuming that the “normal” theater has stadium seating and a screen curved to correct the image focus on a large screen.
