Home To Me, Foreign To You

I love lazy Sundays. Made some french toast this morning with soymilk instead of the regular 2% with a rich cinnamon butter sauce and sliced bananas with vanilla yogurt. I had way too much so I’m about to pass out… But! I managed to squeeze three new ringtones today. All tracks from Japan that you may or may not have heard. Here we go!
Utada Hikaru – First Love (Piano Intro Sample)
It’s 168k, 21 seconds in length and encoded in FM radio quality (64kbps). Set it to that boy/girl in 8th grade you always had a crush on that calls you once in a blue moon.

Cibbo Matto – Sugar Water (Aural Monologue Edit)
152k, 19 seconds and encoded @ 64kbps. This one is for that guy / girl you’d never date (’cause it’d just be weird), but a conversation with them is just like… Sugar Water. Also known as the Alice ringer.

Tank! (Luke Vibert Remix) Ringtone Edit
From Cowboy Bebop fame. The file is 328k, 41 seconds and encoded @ 64kbps. I only made this because I like watching people recognize anime ringtones but become hesitant to identify where it’s from. It’s a social experiment with every call!

**TIP** Again, on more recent phones, you can text yourself the URL using AIM and if your phone supports it… you should be able to highlight the link in your phone’s message inbox and go to the link directly without typing it in manually. Just open an blank AIM window and put your phone number in the ‘TO:’ field: +(country code)(area code and phone number) Example: “+19995551234?. Simple!
One last thing: If anyone knows any Japanese vocal deep house tracks, leave a comment or email me the goods. It’d be much appreciated!

I actually have heard First Love before. I came across it while looking for the soundtrack for First Love: The Litter On The Breeze. The song wasn’t too bad.
You don’t, uh, happen to have that soundtrack, or know where to get it, do you? I never actually found it. Any ideas?
