This Is Gonna Be The Biggest Kumbaya Circle Ever!
I’ll get straight to the point: 50 personal Multiplayer to be available in Halo 3. Although it’s still a rumor, I’d love to see this happen. What, you think I’m making this up? Check Kotaku’s article my friend. It’s hand-me-down news from a friend’s friend’s brother-in-law’s uncle or something, but that doesn’t stop me from thinking such wonderful things.
Imagine the insanity! 5 teams of 10 bum rushing a heavily guarded base from all angles. Everyone calling out millions of different commands that fall on deaf ears. This is gonna anarchy. Delicious deep fried until golden brown n’ don’t forget to add extra hot sauce anarchy. This isn’t just a huge step for Halo fanatics… It’s a damn good thing for all of online gaming. If this is the future, slap me twice and call me call me grizzled, cause I’m gonna pitch my tent and wait in front of Gamestop now!
Think about the possibilities! 50 car/cart/truck races. 50 fighter planes in a dogfight setting. An actual warfare simulation that can actually simulate a battle (with some bots of course). A new era of online party games that require ‘multi-group’ involvements i.e. 5 people or more mash on the ‘A’ button to inflate a balloon or trigger long strings of events in a Mousetrap type of game. 50 PERSON EXTREME ROCK PAPER SCISSORS!!! LOL.
For all you Naruto dweebs fans out there, remember when all the geinin were training in their second chunin exam? They were instructed to seek out another team’s scroll while being locked away in a huge forest. If I remember, there were 25 teams of 3. Limit that to to 16 teams of three, and you have yourself an XBOX 360 compatible game (yeah right). Now THAT would be a funky ass game. You’d pick your favorite ninja and team up with you friends and run missions against other ninja teams. I’d choose Temari (long distance), Shikimaru (close proximity) and Sasuke (badass-ness). That’s kinda off topic… but I just wish they’ll make some really creative games when the series gets big in the ‘States.
Anyway, here’s hoping that Halo 3 will be all kinds of dopeness when it comes out next spring.
It’s good to frag / grenade / snipe / rockect / sword play together.
