COOOOL! GREAT! AWESO… Wait. WTF Is This?
Jason and I were gonna fire up x-box live to play Street Fighter Anniversary Collection for some online Hadoken combo action yesterday when he saw that there was new downloadable content for Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow. We popped that in, got overly excited, downloaded the new map and went exploring.
It’s titled Lockdown: Bootcamp. It was probably created to fend off all the negative responses to Ubisoft pushing back the next installment of the Clancy games. Freakin’ IDIOTS! It was supposed to be available for sale in APRIL! Anyway… the map is very large and filled with little details and cool sniper spots. That’s great and all… but they spawn both teams right next to each other. RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER!!!

Why?!??! It’s a huge map with TONS of potential to have some good clean fun. But NOoOoOoOoooOoOo… let’s ruin it by making one NASTY bottle-necked doorway to frustrate both teams into grenade spamming for 5 mins. If they wanted to TEASE us… they should’ve done it right and made me EXCITED about it with the new download instead of turning me off on Ubisoft in general.
I hope this isn’t a preview of what’s to come.

sucked. SO BAD. and it’s all glitchy too, you can get up on top AND over/behind the wall in the parking lot.

Yeah, WTF!?!?!?! Does Ubisoft think they can calm the masses of disappointed geeks by releasing a new map? They might as well make Lockdown for the 360 since the game launches a few months before the console. Too bad I sold my Black Arrow to reserve Lockdown thinking it was coming out in May. So I guess I’ll stick to Rockets and Swords.
