Style Wars: Let’s Eat
Lots of cool gadgets/stuff have been making their way into my ‘blog this later’ queue. Two of which are related to food. Probably because I’m perpetually hungry. BTW, my birthday is coming up, so I expect all the shit I post in the next few days to be delivered to my front door that morning OR Papa Noel style and placed under the xmas beer tree. Hee hee. OK seriously. If you’re ‘all up onz’ the food-er movement, pay attention. You’ll have your peers cursing under their breath when they see you ‘flossin’ yo’ IIICCCEEEE’.

Global 3 Knife Set

Professional chefs all over the world praise Global knives for their perfect balance, lightweight feel and seamless construction. The knives are hand forged in Japan from exceptionally hard stainless steel using a process inspired by the crafting of ancient samurai swords. The razor-sharp blades are ice tempered and hardened, so they stay sharp and resist corrosion. The textured handles provide a secure grip. This set includes an 8″ chef’s knife, 5 1/2″ vegetable knife and 4″ paring knife. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

Not much commentary to say really. I want the bottle holder to serve as an excuse to ‘invest’ in a reserve of vino. I also want the knives because ultimately, I want a portable, versatile assortment of kitchen utensils at my disposal at anytime. How dope would it be to bust out with those black gig bags that professional chefs use while impressing your new girlfriend’s parents? It sure beats using the crusty ass cutlery that my friends used to own. Oh if I could tell you the quality of kitchens I have worked in (keeping in mind that I still live in a college town). The horror. THE HORROR!
So yeah. More wine = good. And… What a better way to start a long lasting trustworthy collection of kitchen tools than with an set of absurdly expensive knives?
