BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad
I know I know… too much anime talk. But I couldn’t pass this up. One of best tracks from an anime has been posted online @ Itsumo Anime Blog. I’d also like to thank him/her (?) for the pics that I used for the flash header.
The track is called “Full Moon Sway” and its from an anime called Beck (Official Japanese Website), another series I’m watching on a weekly basis. Synopsis taken from the Anime News Network.
Tanaka Yukio, better known by his nickname Koyuki is a 14 year old who feels disconnected from life in general. Through the act of saving a mismatched dog, he meets guitarist Minami Ryuusuke, and becomes involved in Ryuusuke’s new band BECK. Koyuki’s life starts to change as the band struggles towards fame.
I’d suggest downloading as many episodes you can before you start watching. Its hard to get the flow back when you step away from this anime for a while. It can be found as a .torrent on AnimeSuki.com. It has great music, and extremely smooth animation and a refreshing “manga” look. We’ve all felt ‘detatched’ from the rest of the world and the series really grasps how hard it is to feel like you belong.

A Dutch website (http://beck.web-log.nl/log/2205620) has just posted my flash movie (see above) on their site. I asked a couple friends in Holland that speak dutch (Thanks HUUB AND PEET!) and they can’t read it. I can’t babelfish it either. LOL. It says something about enjoying the series.
Anyway, it’s nice to know that good anime is being enjoyed all around the world. w00p w00p!

Yeah. You can watch it all on-line nowadays though! I love the music so much!
