I bought rock candy @ a local confectionery with the ladies @ work during lunch yesterday. And by ladies, I mean ladies. I’m the youngest person in the office by more than a few years @ 23, and the only male. sigh… I just wanted to clarify that (mainly because I never want to talk about that again, heh)

Anyway, I haven’t had rock candy since I used to swipe the Bad Batz Maru kind from the Sanrio store when I was 15. (What else can you do when you’re a punk kid @ the mall?). MMmmmMMmmMmmM.. after my first taste, I was catapulted back to the time where I used to almost check out the older girls (read: SKANKS) in front of Contempo, avioded glances from pretty much everyone, and feigned interest in all the breaking crews that would pass out flyers in front of the Manchu Wok (Seriously, I’m not making this up).

So when I finally had my fill of PURE SUGAR, I looked for a decent recipe on the net. Google came up with this link on how to “Make Rock Candy.” Its pretty self-explanatory. If you decide to make an extra batch solely for the purpose of sending me a gift, please send it to:
